I applied for a card this evening and I expected an acceptancer denial in 60 seconds. What happened to my application?
Answer:
If you applied for an instant approval credit card and didn't get a reply within several minutes, you might have been denied. Or there might have been some technical problems. Anyway, call the bank to make sure.

Best of luck,

I am writing to inquire about any restrictions with providing a credit card to a non-resident alien with no credit history. Specifically, for individuals who come to the United States as full-time researchers (on J and H visas) at universities and stay anywhere from one to five years. I write as a representative of the National Postdoctoral Association, which would like to be able to refer international postdocs to a creditor that would accept applications from foreign scholars. Thank you in advance. Any feedback would be appreciated.
Answer:
Actually, credit card companies introduced at our sites do not provide credit cards for people who have no social security number, i.e. non-US residents. But there are banks that work with this type of customers. You can try to find them in the Web.

Until a few months ago, I have paid off my credit card balances each month for the past 20 years or so. I recently applied for and transferred my credit card balances to the Discover Card to avoid monthly payments and interest chrages until next year. Having never used this type of credit card before, I then forgot that it was only the transfered balances that did not require payments, nor accrue interest, so I mistakenly charged many dollars on the card and am now faced with both payments and interest charges on those amounts immediately. I want to transfer those dollars to another zero interest credit card immediately; however, I am afraid to do so because I don't want to damage my excellent credit rating. I also don't think throwing myself on the mercy of the Discover Card folks will do any good. Do you have any suggestions on how I can get out of this situation besides simply paying the bill? Please help!!!
Answer:
The matter is that credit cards having 0% on balance transfers, usually can't have 0% APR on the main balance, so even if you transfer this balance again on 0%, you'll have to pay interests. So you have two ways to solve the situation: either you stay on this Discover card and pay it off as it is, or transfer the balance on some other credit card, lowering your credit score and facing balance transfer fee. Though, maybe there are credit cards with lower APR than your current card has, so decide for yourself.

I know my 3 bureau scores They are 562 Transunion 598 Experian 549 Equifax I don't want excessive inquiries on my credit nor do I want a secured card. I have been told by a financial planner that my scores would drastically increase with a well managed revolving credit card. Any suggestions. Thank you for your assistance!
Answer:
A revolving credit card lets you withdraw funds up to a pre-approved credit limit. The amount of available credit depends on borrowed and repaid funds and pay interest. You may use credit more than once. You may as well repay over time or in full anytime. Being organized you can save on interest, so probably your manager is right.By the way, it's better to have all the credit bureaus' scores identical not to lose your information.

I would like to buy the gift card ( $20.00 and get $25.00 ) but I don't know how to get in that web. Please show me which way to get in and buy the gift card. Thank you very much
Answer:
Unfortunately, we do not offer prepaid gifts cards. Please find the official web site of Visa or American Express and choose a gift card there. Sorry, we do not give any links to such resources.
