we filed bankruptcy in OR (will be four years in Jan). We just want a card with a low balance for emergency funds if needed. I'm talking like $500. We make $75k a year, own a house, only have a car payment for debt. Is there someone out there willing to help us with this? Our credit is actually really great aside from the bankruptcy. We've had some small loans we've paid off on time the last few years and have no 30 day late payments on our record for the last four years. Thanks. |
 |
Answer:
Unfortunately, we are not a credit card company or a lender, otherwise, we would recommend you some ways out. We just offer credit cards and credit card applications.
Credit history is a very tricky thing. There are pretty a lot of people who can boast of good wages but have a poor credit score. They also try to improve their credit rating, but only personal agreement with a bank can help here. Wish you good luck!

i have an income of 730 per month after taxes. I have applied for disability and am looking for a. bad credit unsecured personl loan to bridge the gap. |
 |
Answer:
If you look through bad credit card applications presented at our site, you can probably find a credit card that fits you needs best of all. If you do not need a large credit, of course. But be sure, the charges will be rather high and there will be probably no rewards. If you plan to build credit history, you shouldn't hesitate to apply for a credit card, if no, think twice before doing that, as you'll have to pay for using the loan, anyway.

i received an offer for a credit card from this company . i do not find them on this web site. i was dirrected to this site but there is nothing here available from washington mutal. can you tell me if they are an actual co. |
 |
Answer:
If you do not find the offer you received from the company, the offer must be overdue. The matter is that if a bank presents a credit card application as a pre-approved offer, it means this offer is valid during a certain period of time and for certain credit conditions. And the valid term and address of application is given in the preapproval letter. if something is wrong, or you can't find some significant points, it may point at the fact that this credit card offer is a scam or not valid already. Try to find this offers by means of the search engine. If you fail to find anything, that will mean it was a scam.

Are there any credit card offerings for canadian residents (fair/bad credit)? |
 |
Answer:
You can find quite a number of credit card offers for Canadian residents at Canada Credit Cards, but it is for sure that there are no credit cards for bad and fair credit history among them. However, there are banks that provide credit card applications for foreigners with limited credit history. You can search for them using search engine.

Received application letter, but cannot find the proper website to apply. |
 |
Answer:
If you can't find the site which is given in the letter, you definitely have received a scam. If no site address is given, you can only apply by mail or by phone. Also, it may so happen that the offer promoted by the application letter you received, is overdue already, so you can't apply for it. Be careful when applying for credit cards by unknown banks, as you can unexpectedly face identity theft. To check it up somehow, you can call the numbers, if they are given in the letter, if no numbers it should be very suspicious.

c,ant get credit or bank account |
 |
Answer:
Maybe the problem consists in that you do not have a social security number? Then you if you work in the US you can get it. If you've already got your SSN, but still cannot obtain a credit card or credit, try a local store credit card to grow your credit score. Then, probably, you will be able to receive a secured credit card. With this credit card, you will be able to build your credit to further on obtain an unsecured credit card. A secured credit card allows you to use a low credit limit, as the limit equals to the amount of collateral. Besides, the charges are quite high, but that's the only way to establish your credit.

what would be the best card to use for a sudent who will be studying for 4 months in France? |
 |
Answer:
In my opinion, you can benefit to some extent from a credit card with low foreign exchange fee. There are no credit cards with no foreign exchange fee at all, an average fee being equal to 3% of the amount in transaction. Though, the lowest foreign exchange fee is 2%, and it can be found with credit cards for good credit. But before applying for a credit card, you should check your credit history, to avoid denial. Besides, even if your credit score satisfies credit card offer requirements, you should read terms&conditions carefully to be sure in what you will get and how the credit card works. Best of luck in your studies over the sea!

I continuously get turned down for cards that are supposed to help reestablish your credit. How can I when noone will give me a break. What is the problem? |
 |
Answer:
You probably have too many recent inquiries. We suggest you should wait for some 2-3 months or more. Each inquiry spoils and lowers your credit score, that's why with every credit card application - when you are turned down - a credit card company considers they will risk something dealing with you. It's normal. Try to improve your score using a local store credit card - they will give you a small credit limit, but somehow you will be able to improve the rating. Also, it is recommended to get a secured credit card, to build some credit and avoid denials.

How can I check my account statement online. |
 |
Answer:
If your bank provides online account access, you can go to the official site of your bank, get registered there and following the given instructions, check your account and make any transactions you want - pay your bills, transfer money from one account to another, pay off your credit balance... If you still need help, call your bank's customer service - they will give you all the necessary instructions or simply follow the instructions given at the site. At our site you can't check your account, as we have no access to the customers' accounts, card numbers and other personal information.
