My 20 year old son is not a student. He is working full time at a job that pays him $18.00 an hour. He has minimal expenses. How can he get a credit card when he has no credit history and he is not a student? I do not want him to pay high fees etc. on a secured card. |
 |
Answer:
If you have good credit history, you can apply for a good credit card and sign him up as a co-borrower. It will help him to add something to his credit score, but won't have any significant effect on his credit history. You can also order an additional credit card of your current card for him, but thus he won't build any credit history, your credit score being increased with this. Actually, if he does want to establish credit, he will have to use secured card and other credit cards for bad credit as his first cards, as he can be approved for no better than cards of this type.

why cant I find an applacation for discovercard canada |
 |
Answer:
Actually, there are not many banks in the United States that deal with credit cards for Canadians. For now, only American Express offers Canadian credit cards, as this company is a widely-marketed one and has many representative offices all around the world. Besides, it is very important to point at the fact that credit card applications by this credit card company are available for customers with good credit history, so if you have limited credit, you'll have to turn to your local Canadian bank for a bad credit credit card, or if you want some specific credit card.

i have bad credit about a 520 score but my wife has a good score, a 690. im 22 and shes 19 so shes had credit for a short time. what kind of credit card should we get. is our credit combined, considered good credit or no? |
 |
Answer:
You should ask the bank about it, as if you apply for a credit card for spouses, they will rather change the terms and charges of the card, according to your scores combined, so it is the bank that will decide in the end. Generally, terms&conditions, as well as the charges of the credit card depend on the credit history and score of the customer - holder of the credit card. So, if the card was in the name of your wife, it will be more beneficial than the credit card available for your credit. But it is worth mentioning that the credit card adds to the credit score of the person in whose name it was registered.

Do anyone know of any credit cards that are tax ID only? Mabye a website that lists them. Thank you so much for your help. |
 |
Answer:
At our website you can apply online for a credit card and get an aaproval. However, to submit a credit card application successfully, you must insert your private information. This includes your Social Security Number.
SSN may be optional only if you are a foreign resident and need a Canadian credit card, UK credit card or Belgian credit card. Unfortunatly, we do not give any information considering other websites where you could find credit cards that require only tax ID. Apply for a credit card online if you are a foreigner.

i live in canada, new brunswick, and i am 18 years old, age of majority is 19, do i have any options other then prepaid to get a credit card? |
 |
Answer:
Well, if you are a Canadian citizen, our web site is of great use for you as we offer online credit card applications for the best Canadian Credit Cards issued by such a financial giant as American Express. However, generally, a person under age is not eligible for credit cards but today more and more banks and credit card companies allow young people, teenagers, obtain a credit card issued in the name of their parents. That is, your parents fill out an online credit card application and get an additional credit card which they hand over to you for your personal credit management. But remember, these credit cards do not start your credit history as they formally belong to your parents who bear the whole responsibility for your monthly payments and other charges.

Do you have online account access to my account?, and how do I get to it? |
 |
Answer:
Unfortunately, we cannot help you with this question as a credit card consumer's personal information, such as ID, the number of bank account, the credit limit or your credit score is not within our competence. Your ability to get an online access to your account depends on the provision of such a service by the bank or credit card company you cooperate with. The online banking service allows you to see your current account, check up your balance and make online payment. To get the necessary information, you need to register at the site of the bank which gives you access to online banking services.

i have a sister in the process of a divorce with very bad credit. i was wondering if i could co-sign her application to insure payment and at the same time improve her credit by it being in her name? is this possible |
 |
Answer:
Well, it depends on your personal credit rating. If you have a good credit history, you can become a co-signer for someone and thus improve his or her credit. All good/excellent credit cards presented at the web site allow to co-sign for someone. You can apply online for a good or excellent credit card and be instantly approved if you qualify. What do you do next? Then you call your bank and ask them to add someone to your account providing his social security. Thus you become a co-signer for a person with bad credit history. In fact, you agree to share the debt and be liable for all payments. By making timely payments, a person with bad credit starts improving his credit history.

I NEVER HAD CREDIT BEFORE WWHERE DO I START |
 |
Answer:
Even if you have never applied for a credit card and have no credit history, you do have a definite credit score which starts right from your birth. So, when you apply for a credit card for the first time, you can qualify only for secured credit cards or no credit credit cards which are meant specially for people with a low credit score, looking to establish or improve credit history. So, welcome to our site to search through the best credit card offers for no credit, compare credit cards and choose the one best fitting your credit score and current financial resources. Remember, do not apply for a credit card you do not qualify for as it may hurt your existing credit score. For this, carefully read terms and conditions of the credit card to see whether you can afford holding it.

what good credit cards can i get to establish credit |
 |
Answer:
The present web site is of great use for people looking to establish credit. If you have never applied for a credit card and have no credit history, the best option for you are secured credit cards online which are MasterCard credit cards from Orchard Bank and Millenium Bank for no credit history customers. Before you apply for a secured credit card online, make sure you read its terms carefully so as to see whether you accept them. A secured credit card is a card requiring you to make a beforehand cash deposit defining the limit on your credit card (usually starting from $200). Each time you default payment on the credit card, the money will be withdrawn from the deposit as a compensation. This is a hard term, no doubt, but is effective in building a good and strong credit history. If you handle your secured credit card well, it will be upgraded to a regular unsecured credit card with more attractive terms which will help you futher improve your credit score and build a solid credit history.
